RDsnap does not host media. Media streams directly from Reddit's public CDN through our proxy to your browser. We take copyright seriously and respond to valid takedown notices.

Where content lives

If your copyrighted work appears in a Reddit post, contact Reddit — they host the original file. RDsnap only reads Reddit's public API and streams the response.

What to include in a notice

  • Your full name, address, phone number, and email.
  • A description of the copyrighted work.
  • The URL(s) on RDsnap where the material appears (or the Reddit URL involved).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised.
  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notices

If content you posted has been affected and you believe the notice was mistaken, you may send a counter-notice with the same required information.
